It is a fact that SAD is following the footsteps of great Sikh gurus who taught communal harmony, love, brotherhood, peace and above all of egalitarian society with pure secular character, the Chief Minister said here.
"That was why they (the party) have always tried to give adequate representation to all the sections of society in the party fold and even in the state government," Badal said.
Replying to a query, the Chief Minister said neither former Punjab Chief Minister Surjit Singh Barnala nor any of his family members had ever met him to express the desire to rejoin SAD.
