"We express anguish over the failure of the Omar Abdullah government. The government has continuously deprived Sikhs of legitimate benefit by not extending the National Minority Act, 1992 to the state, thereby avoiding implementation of national schemes for benefits of the minority," SAD National working president Gurdev Singh told reporters here today.
The legitimate demands of minority Sikhs had been continuously ignored for over 11 years by successive governments, he said.
"Sikhs are being continuously discriminated in employment, promotions, transfers and postings," he alleged.
