"The ministry will be expanded in ten or fifteen days. New faces will be inducted and some senior ministers are expected to be drafted for party work", he told reporters here.
Eswarappa said there would also be changes in portfolios of some ministers and some may get additional charge.
Currently there are eleven ministerial vacancies in the state against its permitted strength of 34 ministers and Gowda is handling at least 20 additional departments.
Eswarappa said the BJP central leadership was expected to give its nod for the ministry expansion, for which several aspirants have been waiting.
The state BJP chief said he did not find fault with the on-going signature campaign by Ministerial aspirants demanding expansion of the ministry.
Gowda, on a three-day visit to Delhi leading an all-party delegation seeking central aid for drought relief, would also seek BJP high command permission for the ministry expansion.

The party has put on hold the exercise apprehending trouble particularly in the wake of campaign by Gowda's predecessor B S Yeddyurappa to regain the chief ministership, which he was forced to quit in July RPT July last year.
Replying to a question whether action would be taken against BJP MLAs who have been participating in the padayatra undertaken by former minister B Sreeramulu, who has floated his own party-- Badavara Shramikara and Raithara paksha after quitting the BJP.
BJP legislators from Bellary district including H T Suresh have been supporting the padayatra by Sreeramulu aimed at connecting with the people ahead of the next year's assembly election. PTI MSR BH VS
