She offered prayers at the Sri Krishna temple yesterday and met chief of the Paryaya Pejawar Mutt Vishwesha Theertha Swami to seek his blessings.
In her speech at the Hindu convention in Goa on June 14, Sadhvi had said that those who eat the meat of cows should be awarded death penalty.
The people, who considered eating the meatof their own mother (cows) as a status symbol, should be hangedin public, she had said.
The remark had drawn sharp criticism from the Congresswith AICC secretary Girish Chodankar saying that the Goagovernment should have taken suo motu cognisance of Sadhvi's comments and filed an FIR against her for the "hate speech."
The convention in Goa, attended by delegates from across thecountry and abroad, was organised by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
