"We are looking at the e-commerce model seriously and are in talks with major players in the segment", CEO of Sahaj Sanjay Panigrahi said.
He said the company, engaged in delivering various services to the rural people through its common service centres (CSC) using the IT infrastructure, was working on the exact model through which this can be fructified.
"We have started doing this in Tamil Nadu through a local e-tailer MVikarsha," he said.
Sahaj was also working towards financial inclusion, transforming some of its CSCs into business correspondents (BC).
The average daily transaction carried out by these BCs was around Rs 46 lakh, Panigrahi said.
So far, Sahaj has set up 6,344 such CSCs out of which 700 were converted into BCs.
