SAIL Director N Mohapatra retires

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) today said term of its Director (Personnel) N Mohapatra has ended.
"...Consequent upon attaining the age of superannuation, N Mohapatra has ceased to be Director (Personnel) on the board of SAIL w.E.F June 30, 2017," the steel major said in a BSE filing.

'GST to formalise MSME sector through digitisation' * With the implementation of new indirect tax regime - GST, formalisation of micro, small and medium enterprises sector (MSME) will take place in a big way through digitisation, financial advisory services provider Resurgent India today said.
Digitisation is an inevitable business compliance which will bring all enterprises under the organised category, it said in a statement.

It also said that Goods and Services Tax (GST) would help increase transparency in the system, which would give a boost to the MSME sector.
"The investors and banks will have an easy assessment mechanism as they can now have access to the transaction level details as mandated in the GST," Resurgent India MD Jyoti Gadia said.
