Sailing C'ship: Deelip Kumar reaches 2nd position on day two

Deelip Kumar of EME Sailing Association (EMESA) surged ahead in Race 4 and 6 in Laser Radial class and reached second position in medals tally on the second day of the Senior Multi-Class Sailing Championship here today.
The event, in which the performance of competitors count for selections for Asiad and Olympic teams, is being held at the Hussain Sagar lake here.
Ayaz Shaikh and Shubham Patel are leading the medal tally in 470 class. The duo marched ahead in all the races sailed so far in the category, an official release said.
EMESA duo of Ashish Patel and Nagen Behera were ahead in all the three races of the day in Enterprise Class.

In the Finn Class, Swatantra Singh bagged the first position in Race 4 and 6 and Vivek finished first in Race 5, but Naveen Kumar still leads the Finn Class.
Only a limited races were conducted in the evening session due to rain. The event concludes on July 8.
