Sailing extravaganza in Hussain Sagar lake from July 1

World champion sailors Nitin Mongia and Mahesh Ramachandran will be the star attractions at the 'Deloitte Monsoon Regatta', commencing at the picturesque Hussain Sagar lake here from July 1.
The sixth edition of the sailing extravaganza has been organised by the Yacht Club of Hyderabad (YCH).
"India's largest sailing regatta, which is in its 6th year, is being conducted for the first time in Americas Cup Format, an IPL-kind easy to follow style. This is also the first time that it will be an inter-city tournament," the organisers said here today.
Mongia and Ramachandran, both world champions and Arjuna Awardees, will battle it out in Hussain Sagar after a gap of three years, said K S Rao, Chairman-Events, Yachting Association of India.

The event has got over 100 entries across new classes of boats like the Topper, Omega Optimist, Indopti and the popular Family Championship.
