Sailor from Haryana dies of bullet injury on ship

A 25-year-old sailor of Eastern Naval Command today died of bullet injury while handling firearms on vessel 'INS Kalinga' at the Naval establishment here.
The sailor, Virender, was shifted to a hospital in the city where he succumbed to his injury, according to a Naval release issued here.
A Board of Inquiry has been ordered to look into the incident and local police have been informed, it said.
The seaman was unmarried and hailed from Jhajjar town in Haryana, the release said.
