Salgaocar, who displayed good performance in the Federation Cup, failed to get the right start in the I-League as they lost to new entrant United Sikkim and were held by Shillong Lajong in their very next match.

Peter Valles who is the caretaker of the Salgaocar team till coach David Booth arrives, said the team spirit is good despite coach Karim Bencherifa's decision to join Mohun Bagan.

"We haven't got the right start we wanted in the league but are expected to do better and win our first match tomorrow against Pailan Arrows at home that will bring back the confidence of the team, and of our fans."

"Arrows are an energetic and youthful side who stay motivated having won their first two matches, and will be looking to keep the winning momentum going," Valles said.

Pailan Arrows who put up a disciplined performance to win both their matches will be looking to their enterprising striker Holicharan Narzary who looked impressive with his poaching skills as he scored three goals. Coach Arthur Papas is likely to field the same side that won the last match.

"My boys are young...Eager to prove their merit. The spirit is high after two successive wins," he said.
