Samathuva Makkal Katchi will remain in AIADMK alliance

Samathuva Makkal Katchi President Sarathkumar today said his party would continue in the AIADMK alliance and the ruling party would win the 2016 assembly elections with a thumping majority.
Talking to reporters here, the actor-turned-politician said there was no question of his party leaving the alliance led by AIADMK and it would continue for next elections also.
"There is no doubt that AIADMK will win the elections with thumping majority," he said.
On DMK's decision to file an appeal against the acquittal of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the wealth case, he said they have the right for such legal action.

Jayalalithaa, who had come out unscathing so far, was not afraid of facing any legal battle, he added.
