"The Board of Directors has accepted the resignation submitted by Sameer Gaur, due to some personal unavoidable circumstances, from the office of Whole-time Director/Joint Managing Director of the company," Jaypee Infratech said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.
The resignation from both the posts has been with effect from August 31, it said.
"However, he will continue to hold the office as a Non-executive Director of the company," the filing said.
Shares of Jaypee Infratech closed at Rs 9.49 on the BSE, up 6.63 per cent from their previous close.
