Sameer Gaur quits as Jaypee Infratech Joint MD

Jaypee Infratech today said its Joint Managing Director Sameer Gaur has resigned due to "personal unavoidable circumstances".
"The Board of Directors has accepted the resignation submitted by Sameer Gaur, due to some personal unavoidable circumstances, from the office of Whole-time Director/Joint Managing Director of the company," Jaypee Infratech said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.
The resignation from both the posts has been with effect from August 31, it said.
"However, he will continue to hold the office as a Non-executive Director of the company," the filing said.
Shares of Jaypee Infratech closed at Rs 9.49 on the BSE, up 6.63 per cent from their previous close.
