The study titled 'India's Most Attractive Brand 2015' was carried out by Trust Research Advisory (TRA) and based on primary research conducted on 2,312 consumers across 16 cities.
"Samsung Mobiles continues to be India's most attractive brand followed by durables firms LG and Sony. TRA's brand attractiveness matrix makes it easier for brands to analyse the changing stakeholder quotient and alter their strategies," TRA chief executive N Chandramouli told reporters here.
The fourth place in the list was bagged by homegrown conglomerate Tata, also the only Indian company to figure in the top five.
Two other Indian brands -- Bajaj and Godrej -- took the ninth and tenth spots, respectively.
Nestle Maggi's rank fell drastically to 100 from 49 due to the ongoing controversy regarding quality issues.
North India's top three attractive brands are Tata, Samsung Mobiles and LG, according to the report.
