Sand boa rescued from an industry premises

A three and half foot long sand boa was rescued from an industrial premises in Papanaickenpalayam in the city today.
As the workers were cleaning the factory premises this morning, they found the sand boa in a corner and immediately informed an environmentalist, who used to help catch snakes, police said.
The environmentalist team caught the sand boa, weighing two kg and handed it over to the forest department, they said.
