Sandalwood trees cut and smuggled out from central jail

In a shocking incident, four fully-grown sandalwood trees were found axed and two of them taken out of the high security central jail premises here.
The jail staff noticed this morning that the sandalwood trees were cut from the root.
The miscreants managed to take two them out of the prison while the remaining were left on the premises, police said.
