Sania-Bethanie in 2nd round of WTA Rome event

Sania Mirza and Bethanie Mattek-Sands breezed into the pre-quarterfinals of the WTA Premier Rome event with an easy straight sets win over Shuko Aoyama and Liga Dekmeijere.
The sixth-seeded Indian-American team registered a 6-1 6-3 win over the Japanese-Latavian combo in the opening round of the USD 2,369,000 clay court event.
They next take on Italian Francesca Schiavone and Samantha Stosur of Australia in the second round.
