Sanjay Bhatia appointed Chairman of Mumbai Port Trust

Senior IAS officer Sanjay Bhatia was today appointed Chairman of Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT).
Bhatia is a 1985 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre.
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved his appointment to the post for a period upto July 31, 2010, i.E. the date of his retirement, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training.
