"The New India Movement 2017-2022 envisages India free from poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism, casteism and uncleanliness and unite the entire country by adopting good governance and using technology," Meghwal, Minister of State (MoS) for Parliamentary Affairs said.
The minister was inaugurating the "Sankalp se Siddhi" programme and exhibition, organized jointly by the Directorate of Audio Visual Publicity (DAVP) and Eastern Coalfields India Ltd (ECL here.
Meghwal said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, about Rs. 57,000 crore have been saved from ongoing schemes by adopting good governance and technology.
A total of 82 stalls including one from ECL have been put up highlighting the flagship schemes of the government such as Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Jan Suraksha Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Food security for poor, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, Mission Indradhanush, Swatchh Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Start UP India, Stand UP India, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Make in India and Housing for poor etc.
The exhibition would remain open from 11 am to 5 pm till September 17.
