Kevzara may be used as monotherapy in case of intolerance to MTX or when treatment with methotrexate is inappropriate, the drugmaker said.
Kevzara is a human monoclonal antibody that binds to the interleukin-6 receptor (IL-6R) and blocks pro-inflammatory IL-6 mediated signalling. Elevated levels of IL-6 are found in the synovial fluid of patients with RA and play an important role in both the pathologic inflammation and joint destruction which are hallmarks of RA, it said in a statement here.

Apollo Hospitals launches air ambulance services network
Apollo Hospitals, Asia's largest multi-specialty chain of hospitals, today announced the extension of its air ambulance services network to several smaller cities and towns like Madurai, Mysore, Kakinada, Karaikudi, Karur, Trichy and Vizag through its current hubs in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

Royal Orchid Hotels today said it has opened a hotel under its brand 'Regenta' in Deharadun in Uttarakhand.
"Uttarakhand has always been an important market for hoteliers in terms of both business and leisure segments," Royal Orchid Hotels managing director Chander K Baljee said in a statement.
With this, Royal Orchid now has a total of 44 hotels.
