The company had posted a net profit of Rs 62 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Sanofi India said in a filing to the BSE.
Standalone total income from operations also rose to Rs 585.8 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 514.9 crore for the same period a year ago.
The company follows January-December as financial year.
In another filing to BSE, Sanofi India said its Board has re-appointed Shailesh Ayyangar as Managing Director of the company for a further term of five years from October 25, 2015.
