"He has taken to think about the victims or he wants to remain ignorant when the present government has just 20 days left," state Finance Minister Amit Mitra told reporters referring to the Union Finance minister.
On Singhvi's demand for a CBI investigation into the ponzi scam, Mitra dubbed the CBI as the 'Congress Bureau of Investigation'.
"Chidambaram is speaking about ED and another on CBI. This means neither of them have faith in either agencies," Mitra said.
Mitra questioned a Rs 45,000 crore scam by a company in Harayana and Punjab with their office just a kilometre away from Chidambaram's office.
Engaging the Enforcement Directorate was nothing but poll politics, the TMC minister said, adding, "We are hurt and angry.
