The show will be aired on HBO and if the 49-year-old actress signs the project, it will mark her return to the channel a decade after 'Sex And The City', reported Deadline.
The show tells the story of a very long divorce and the actress is also expected to executive produce the series.
The project, which is awaiting a formal pilot green light, is being written by British writer-actress Sharon Horgan.
It will be Parker's major return to TV as the actress has been only seen in cameo roles on shows post 'Sex And The City'.
Horgan will executive produce through her Merman Films, along with long-time collaborator Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment. Parker and Alison Benson will executive produce through Parker's Pretty Matches Prods.
