Saria falls on reduced offtake

Saria prices fell by Rs 300 per tonne on the local steel market today on reduced offtake by stockists following slowdown in constructions activity.
Traders said reduced offtake by stockists following slowdown in constructions activity due to adverse weather conditions mainly led to the fall in saria prices.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 300 each to Rs 48,800, Rs 47,400 and Rs 46,400, while saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 47,000 per tonne, respectively.
The following are today's quotations per tonne:
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm 48,800, 10-mm 47,400, 12-mm 46,400, 16-25 mm 47,000
Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 45,800, 10 mm 45,500, 12-mm 44,700, 16-25 mm 44,900.
