Saria gains Rs 200 per tonne on increased offtake

Saria gained Rs 200 per tonne at the local steel market today on increased offtake by stockists following increased demand from construction units.
Traders said increased offtake by stockists on the back of pick-up in constructions activity led to the rise in saria prices.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 50,400, Rs 49,900 and Rs 47,500 per tonne, respectively. Saria 16-25-mm also enquired higher by the same margin to Rs 48,200 per tonne.
Following are today's quotations (in Rupees per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm 50,400, 10-mm 49,900, 12-mm 47,500, 16-25 mm 48,200.
Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 44,700, 10 mm 43,200, 12-mm 41,700, 16-25 mm 45,100.
