Saria moves down on subdued demand

Saria weakened by Rs 300 per tonne at the local steel market today following reduced offtake by stockists due to slackened demand from constructions units.
Besides subdued demand from constructions units and adequate stocks in the market mainly kept pressure on saria prices, traders said.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 300 each to Rs 49,000, Rs 48,500 and Rs 46,100 per tonne respectively. Saria 16-25-mm also traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 46,800 per tonne.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm 49,000, 10-mm 48,500, 12-mm 46,100, 16-25 mm 46,800.
Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 45,700, 10-mm 43,400, 12-mm 42,400, 16-25 mm 42,500.
MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) 44,600. Girder (125X65) 41,000.
