Saria prices fall on reduced offtake by stockists

Saria prices fell by Rs 300 per tonne on the local steel market today on reduced offtake by stockists following slowdown in constructions activity due to adverse weather conditions.
Traders said slowdown in constructions activity due to adverse weather conditions mainly led to decline in saria prices.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 300 each to Rs 48,000, Rs 46,600 and Rs 45,600, while saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 46,200 per tonne, respectively.
The following are today's quotations per tonne:
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm 48,000, 10-mm 46,600, 12-mm 45,600, 16-25 mm 46,300
Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 45,800, 10 mm 45,500, 12-mm 44,700, 16-25 mm 44,900.
