Saria strengthens on increased offtake

Saria prices were up Rs 200 per tonne at the wholesale steel market in the national capital today due to increased offtake by stockists on the back of pick up in demand from constructions units.
Traders said increased offtake by stockists following pickup in demand from construction units mainly led to rise in saria prices.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up Rs 200 each to Rs 44,000, Rs 43,500 and Rs 41,100 per tonne respectively. Saria-16-mm followed suit and enquired higher by a similar margin to 41,900 per tone.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 44,000, 10-mm Rs 43,500, 12-mm Rs 41,100, 16-25 mm Rs 41,900.
Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,200, 10-mm Rs 42,900, 12-mm, Rs 41,900, 16-25 mm Rs 42,000.
MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
