Saria weakens on subdued demand

Saria prices fell by Rs 200 per tonne at the local steel market today on slackened demand from constructions units.
Traders said besides subdued demand from construction units, adequate stocks position mainly led to the fall in saria prices.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 50,200, Rs 49,700 and Rs 47,300, while saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 48,000 per tonne, respectively.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm 50,200, 10-mm 49,700, 12-mm 47,300, 16-25 mm 48,000.
Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 44,700, 10-mm 43,200, 12-mm 41,700, 16-25 mm 45,100.
Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 45,700, 10-mm 43,400, 12-mm 42,400, 16-25 mm 42,500.
MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) 44,600. Girder 125X65 41,000.
