Sarjubala (48kg) started the proceedings with a dominating 3-0 win over Suguro Aldriani of Indonesia in the weight category quarterfinal, while Saweety (81kg) followed it up with a 2-1 win over Marsic Anamarija of Croatia in another quarterfinal bout.
However, boxers Pavitra and Kavita could not proceed further as they lost to their respective opponents.
In the 64 kg weight category, Pavitra lost to Beliakova Anstasiia of Russia 0-3, while Kavita too succumbed to a similar fate against Magomedalieva Zenfira of Russia in the +81 kg weight category.
