Sateppa, Remy emerge winners in National Board Championships

K Sateppa of Army Yachting Node, Remy Fernandes of Goa Yachting Association, Donald Coelho, Dayne Coelho, Katya Coelho and Canute Demello of Goa Beach Sports Academy claimed the titles on the last day of National Board Championships here.
Russell Lobo and Myron Gomes of GYA claimed the Junior and Sub-Junior titles in the Raceboard class.
In the Mistral class, Remy Fernandes won both the day's races comfortably with Ram Lal taking the second spot.
In the Raceboard - Men, Sadam Houssain won the 11th race followed by Vikas Jadha after Donald decided to forfeit. However, in the 12th race Donald returned to win the last race comfortably followed by Saddam Houssain.

In the Raceboard Youth, there was a close tussle between Canute D'Mello, David Estibeiro and Cany Rodrigues. Canute however managed to hold off the strong challenge to win both the races. This was his first year in the Youth Age group.
In the Youth Girls, young Manaswini from Orissa won all the races in the championship and emerge a clear winner.

Neha Correa and Mihika Mehta, both participating in the Boardsailing Nationals for the first time, took the first and second places.
In the Techno class, siblings Dayne and Katya won the championship for the Youth Boys and Youth Girls respectively.

In the Juniors, there was once again a close fight between Russell Lobo and Rhea Fernandes. Rhea put up a stellar performance to beat back the challenge from Russell in the last race. Russell however, due to his better performance in the earlier races managed to win the overall championship for Juniors.
In the Sub-Junior boys, Myron won every race.
