A specialised criminal court in Saudi Arabia has sentenced two Chad nationals to death for the killing of a French man in 2004.
The Saudi Press Agency reported late yesterday that the men were part of a group of terrorists that included 10 other suspects, including Saudis and one Yemeni.
The agency reported that the 10 were ordered to serve prison sentences ranging from four to 22 years on charges of belonging to an extremist group.
In a separate case earlier this week, the court also sentenced two Saudi men to death for the killing of four French nationals.
The four had been living in Saudi Arabia and were shot dead on the side of a road leading to the Muslim holy city of Medina in 2007.
