Mother of industrialist and politician Naveen Jindal, the 64-year-old Savitri Jindal today filed her nomination papers from Hisar Assembly constituency.
In an affidavit filed along with nomination papers, Jindal has declared movable and immovable assets size of Rs 55.20 crore and Rs 52.97 crore, respectively.
Notably, Savitri Jindal has featured in the Forbes list of 100 richest Indians this year. Jindal has been ranked 12th in the list, which is topped by Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani with a fortune of USD 23.6 billion.
During 2009 assembly polls in Haryana, Jindal had declared movable and immovable assets of Rs 17.75 crore and Rs 25.94 crore, respectively.

Not owning any vehicle, Jindal has declared cash amounting to Rs 33,000, while showing investments in equity shares and mutual funds amounting to Rs 37.09 crore.
During 2009 polls, Jindal had shown investments in shares amounting to Rs 8.97 crore.
She has also declared bank deposits and FDR to the tune of Rs 7.25 crore as against declaration of bank deposits of Rs 24.09 lakh in 2009 elections.
During 2009 polls, Jindal had declared jewelry worth Rs 3.68 crore.
While declaring her immovable assets, Jindal has shown farm land in Mumbai and commercial land in Hisar including inherited properties worth Rs 52.97 crore, as per her affidavit.
She has also shown liability towards bank loan or any other financial institution at Rs 30,000.
Jindal, who is chairperson of O P Jindal Group, has shown her educational qualification of 10+1 from Allahabad in 1964.
