SBI donates semi blood auto analyser machine to vet hospital

State Bank of India (SBI) here today donated semi blood auto analyser machine to the Government Veterinary Hospital which is being projected as a model hospital for animals in the state.
The machine was donated to the hospital at Sadar Manzil in old Bhopal on behalf of the bank by the SBI's Ladies Club Chairperson, Subhashri Ghosh.
"We have heard about this veterinary hospital and modern facilities available here for domestic animals. We are highly impressed with the facilities available in this government run hospital and decided to donate semi blood auto analyser machine for the treatment of domestic animals," Ghosh said after inaugurating the new facility.
"It will help in providing better treatment facilities to the animals also," she said.
The hospital already has facilities like dog-spa, sonography, X-ray, well-equipped laboratory for conducting tests, dental care and modern operation theatre, hospital In-charge, Dr Anil Sharma said.
The facility -- semi blood auto analyser -- is first of its kind in any Government run veterinary hospital.
With this tests like complete blood picture, lever and renal function test, lipidogram and urine test can be easily conducted at the hospital at a nominal rate.
The hospital is being projected as a model hospital for domestic animals in the entire state by the government, he added.
