The Supreme Court today did not interfere with the no-confidence motion passed by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) Board against its chairman Vipul Chaudhary.
Chaudhary had approached the apex court against December 4 order of a division bench of Gujarat High Court allowing the members of the Federation to discuss no-confidence motion against him.
A bench comprising justices R M Lodha and Shivakirti Singh was told that a majority of members of the GCMMF Board yesterday passed the no-confidence motion against Chaudhary, after which the bench disposed of the appeal filed by Chaudhary as it became infructous.
It said the matter can now be heard before the single judge of the High Court on the implementation of the no-confidence motion.
A no-confidence motion seeking the ouster of Chaudhary for alleged mismanagement in affairs of the Federation was passed yesterday at a meeting of board of directors.
The resolution to oust Chaudhary, however, cannot be implemented till the Gujarat High Court gives its nod.

A division bench of the High Court had on Wednesday vacated the stay on a meeting called by directors of the Federation to discuss a no-confidence motion against Chaudhary.
However, the high court had said the decision taken in the meeting cannot be implemented without its permission.
In October, 14 out of 17 member unions of the GCMMF board had moved the no-confidence motion against Chaudhary who was elected as its chairman in August 2012.
