"We have a good team of lawyers to represent the state's case regarding inclusion of Marathi-speaking areas of Belgaum, Karwar, Nippani of Karnataka into Maharashtra," he said while addressing delegates of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee.

Chavan said the government will hold discussions with the lawyers to make it a water-tight case. Maharashtra had moved the apex court demanding resolution to the 50-year-old dispute.
