The maximum temperature settled at 31.3 degrees Celsius, three notches below the normal.
According to an MeT official, the minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, one degree below the normal, while the humidity oscillated between 76 and 100 per cent.
"23.2 mm rainfall was recorded till 8.30 AM. However, zero rainfall was recorded thereafter even though the sky remained partly cloudy," the official said.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky for tomorrow with a possibility of light rain.
The downpour Yesterday had triggered traffic snarls at various intersections and busy roundabouts, including ITO and Dhaula Kuan.
The maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday were 29.1 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
