Rains were witnessed in Palam (20 mm), Ayanagar (1.8 mm), Narela (10 mm), Pusa and Mungeshpur (both 2 mm) areas, MeT Department said.
Though rains brought the maximum temperature down to normal but failed to bring any respite from hot a humid conditions.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius, which was normal for this time of the year.
The minimum temperature was at 25.2 degrees Celsius, which was a degree above the normal.
The humidity level was between 60 and 85 per cents respectively.
The weatherman has forecast a partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rains or thunder showers.
