Kasauli in Solan district and Jogindernagar in Mandi district recorded 21 mm of rain while Pandoh and Bijahi recorded 17 and 14 mm respectively, followed by Jubbal and Dharampur with 6 mm each, Solan 5 mm and Gohar and Jhajheli with 3 mm.
Conditions were partially overcast in Shimla and surrounding tourist resorts of Kufri, Fagu and Wildflower Hall, but no rain was recorded.
Minimum temperatures rose by two degrees at Keylong and Kalpa at 6.4 degrees Celsius.
Una was hottest in the region at 37.4 degrees while Sundernagar, Nahan and Bhuntar recorded maximum temperatures of 33.1 degrees, 32.6 degrees and 31.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
Solan recorded 28 degrees, Dharamshala 27.8 degrees, Shimla 23.4 degrees, Kalpa 21.8 degrees and Manali 21.1 degrees Celsius.
The local MeT office has predicted rains and thunder showers in mid hills over next six days. Rains and thundershowers have also been forecast in lower and higher hills from May 10 to May 13.
