Climate in West Bengal remained cool with the highest day temperature remaining at 33.2 degrees Celsius today as cloudy sky and scattered rains in different parts of the state kept the mercury down.

Scattered rainfall occurred in many parts of the state during the same period.
The Met department has forecast generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thunderstorms in the state for the next one day.
