School kid assaulted by senior student's father

An eight-year-old school student was assaulted by the guardian of a senior student for lodging a complaint with the school authorities against the senior student, the police said today.
Afjal Hossain was arrested after the guardians of the eight-year-old-boy lodged a complaint accusing him of assaulting the kid for complaining against his son, a class IX student.
Hossain's son had beaten up the kid inside the school premises a few days back, the police said, adding, yesterday Hossain had come to the school and beaten up the eight-year-old student and pierced him with safety pins.
The traumatised kid later on narrated his ordeal to his parents who later on lodged the complaint following which Hossain was arrested, the police added.
