School-level volleyball team meets with accident; one killed

One student was killed while nearly 12 others, including the coach of a school-level volleyball team, were injured in a road mishap here today.
According to SHO (Benar) Hanuman Singh, a team of volleyball players from Lucky Bal Niketan School was going to participate in a tournament in Kharia Mithapur near Bilara today and were supposed to be back by the evening after playing the match.
"The vehicle, they were travelling in, suddenly capsized mid-way after the driver lost control over the vehicle. A student identified as Avinash Jat (18) died on the spot in this accident whereas about a dozen other including the coach of the team, were injured", Singh said.

All the injured were rushed to the MDM Hospital in Jodhpur, where except one, all have been discharged after administering primary treatment.
Singh said that primarily the negligence of the drive is being suspected, who immediately fled the spot.
"We have registered a case against him and are searching for him", he said.
