Schoolgirl pulled into car, escapes

A minor school girl was today allegedly pulled into a car by four young men, but a young woman who was also on board helped her to escape in Lakhimpur town in Assam today, police sources said.
The 14-year old girl was going to school when the four young men and the woman pulled her inside the car and drove off, the sources said.
After travelling a short distance, the car stopped and when the young men alighted the woman inside asked the girl to escape, which she did, they said.
After she escaped, the men and the woman sped off in the car.

The girl told local people of her ordeal and was escorted to the local police station, the sources added.
The police were looking for the four young men and the woman.
