The idea of this unique train is to create awareness among the masses in general and youth in particular about the rich biodiversity of the country that is home to 8 per cent of the world's biodiversity, a railway press release said.
Science Express is a unique science exhibition mounted on a 16-coach AC train. The state-of-the-art exhibition aboard this train aims to create widespread awareness on the unique biodiversity of India, Climate Change, Water, Energy Conservation and related issues among various sections of the society, especially students.
In rest of the rake, the exhibition includes themes on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Water, Sustainable Environment and Energy Conservation.
The train, which will be stationed at Platform No 4 of Thrissur Railway station during the three days, will be at Kollam from November 27-30.
The train was flagged off from Delhi on July 28 in the current phase and will visit 56 locations till February 6 next year.
