Science museum-cum-3D theatre inaugurated in West Delhi

A science museum equipped with 3D theatre was inaugurated at AD Municipal Primary School in Tagore Garden here today.
South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) Mayor Shyam Sharma inaugurated the museum.
The Arya Bhatt Science Museum, built by SDMC at a cost of Rs 3.30 crore, will enable students of municipal schools to study science more effectively.
"The 3D auditorium and museum will bring children more close to the nature, nature's bounties, space, satellite, moon, dense forests, oceans and other creations of this world," Sharma said while inauguration the facility.
Director of Education Meeta Singh said that SDMC was mulling converting the 3D museum into a 7D one.
A library on science and advances in computer will also be set up in the museum. The building has been constructed on the green concept having rainwater harvesting and low power consumption systems in place, she said.
BJP MP from West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency Parvesh Verma, Commissioner of SDMC Puneet Goel, and other leaders and officials were present on the occasion.
