SCOPE launches quiz for public sector employees

Public sector employees from across the country will soon battle it out in a quiz on the latest happenings in the business world, and the winner will take home a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh.
The quiz will also help PSU employees learn about new management concepts and innovative practices. It is a part of a knowledge-enhancement initiative by public sector enterprises body SCOPE.
It will be held in June-July at Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and New Delhi with the Grand Finale at New Delhi.
"My firm belief is that public sector employees are in no way less competent or knowledgeable than their private sector counterparts. The initiative will provide them a platform for further developing their knowledge & acumen and encourage them to keep abreast of the business environment," SCOPE Chairman C S Verma said.
To help PSU employees prepare for the quiz, SCOPE also launched a Business Quiz book yesterday.

HDFC Bank launches Cyber crime response training programme * HDFC Bank today launched a cyber crime training programme for Delhi police, to help enhance the knowledge and understanding of law enforcement authorities when it comes to tackling cyber related economic offences.
HDFC Bank is conducting this programme as part of secure banking initiative, which is an endeavour to educate and create awareness on security in various banking channels, from ATMs to online across key stakeholders.
Speaking at the inauguration, HDFC Bank Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Vishal Salvi said," The endeavour of this programme is to partner with law enforcement authorities and equip them with appropriate skill sets to tackle cyber crime economic offences with the help of real-life examples.
