Market watchdog Sebi today imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh on Radiant Rotogravure for failing to obtain authentication with its online complaint redressal system.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) in an order said the "noticee (Radiant Rotogravure)" neither obtained SCORES authentication within the time line of September 14, 2012, nor it has done subsequently.
Accordingly, a fine of Rs 5 lakh has been imposed on the firm, according to the order.
The regulator in June 2011 had directed all listed companies to obtain Sebi Complaints Redressal System (SCORES) authentication within the stipulated time.
Sebi, through a circular issued in August 2012, reiterated the June 2011 directives and fixed September 14, 2012, as the last date for obtaining SCORES authentication. Again in April 2013, the regulator had asked the listed firms to obtain the authentication by May 2013.
SCORES provides a centralised database of all the complaints. Online movement of complaints to the concerned companies and upload of their Action Taken Reports (ATRs) are done through this system.
