Scott Rosenberg to write 'Jumanji' remake

Work on Sony Pictures' "Jumanji" remake is in full swing and "Gone in 60 Seconds" scribe Scott Rosenberg has been roped in to work on the script.
Remake of the 1995 hit that starred Robin Williams, will also have Jeff Pinkner,one of the scribes hailing from JJ Abrams' TV show "Alias", to consult on the project, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The studio has set December, 2016 release date for the film.
Adapted from a book by Chris Van Allsburg, the original movie revolved around two kids who let loose a man trapped decades in a board game.
