"Social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, Youtube pages launched by the Railways are being extensively used by passengers. About 10 million impressions (hits) have been recorded so far in South Central Railway zone itself since their launch in 2013," an SCR press release issued here said.
SCR Facebok page was launched on February 4, 2013, while twitter page was opened on February 4 last year.
It said a mobile based app Complaint Management System, launched by SCR, has also received good response from users.
