electronic channel was shot dead today by unidentified gunmen at Railway Road in Bahadurgarh town located on Haryana-Delhi border, about 45km from here.
The assailants fired on 30-year-old Praveen Chaudhary of Teachers' Colony of Bahadurgarh town when he was buying medicines from a chemist shop this morning.
Praveen fell down when the bullet pierced through his chest, said Rajeev Deswal, the Bahadurgarh DSP.
Police, on getting information, rushed to the spot and took injured Praveen, lying in a pool of blood, to hospital from where he was referred to PGIMS at Rohtak. Praveen succumbed to his injuries on the way of PGIMS.
Deswal said the exact reason behind the murder would be known after completion of the preliminary investigation but enmity might be the cause as Praveen had some criminal cases against him.
"It is yet to be ascertained that how many assailants were in number as no one has spotted them", he said.
