"After the account is attached, the bank uses the amount available to pay off the dues. In this case, the cheque for Rs 1.93 crore to be handed over to SDMC is under process at the bank.
"I believe the party has approached the High Court so that any sum beyond the one already issued is not given out to SDMC," he said.
"We will now pursue the legal matter to recover the tax amount," Singh added.
In the past few months, SDMC attached bank accounts of DDA, Ansal Properties and most recently TDI Mall, Jasola among others for defaulting on their property tax payments.
